Prayer Gathering

One of the core values we hold fast to at Bobbin Head Anglican Church is the need for prayer. The Bible teaches that prayer is vital, because prayer expresses (through confession, praise, thanksgiving and the making of requests) our complete dependence upon God. God is glorified when we express that dependence in our lives.

For that reason, there are a number of opportunities at BHAC for people to gather and pray.

On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month, at 9:15am, we gather for prayer in the school hall. On the 4th Sunday of the month, we meet half an hour earlier, at 8:45am, for extended prayer. Coffee and danishes are provided!

Every Wednesday, from 11:15am, join the BHAC staff for prayer and morning tea. This opportunity for prayer is held at Wendy Volckmar's house.

Also, all at BHAC are encouraged to be in a Growth Group. Growth Groups at BHAC schedule opportunities in their meeting time for sharing and prayer.

Individuals are encouraged to practise the discipline of daily prayer, and to take opportunities to pray with others informally.
