What are we here for?

Our aim is to be a community in North Turramurra where people find continual and lasting refreshment in Jesus. Our church comprises people who have been Christians for a long time, new believers, and people still investigating the claims of Jesus Christ.

The story of 'BHAC'
Senior Minister - Luke Woodhouse

Bobbin Head Anglican Church (BHAC) was "planted" in March 2005 by St James Anglican Church Turramurra. From 2005 to the end of 2007 it was also financially supported by St Swithun's Anglican Church, Pymble, and the Northern Regional Council of the Sydney Diocese.

The congregation meets in the assembly hall of Turramurra North Public School at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. Almost half of our congregation is under fourteen years old. Every Sunday we run ALIVE, our creche and  primary age kids program, (for kids in Kindy to Year 5) and 'The Revolution' (for youth in Years 6 to 9).

In February 2008 two new congregations were begun under the banner of Bobbin Head Anglican Church. These two congregations, which are tailored for those who prefer a more traditional type of service, are held in the chapel at Lady Davidson Private Hospital, North Turramurra.
