Services

There are three services to choose from at the Anglican Church in North Turramurra:

For those who prefer a contemporary, family-friendly service (with creche and Sunday School), there is the 9:30 a.m. service at North Turramurra Public School. The church meets in the school's assembly hall.

For a map of where the 9:30 a.m. service meets, click here. There is parking inside the school grounds. Entry is next to the zebra crossing on Bobbin Head Road.

This service has an informal atmosphere. Praise is led by a band, and the songs are the best of the new and old. Most Sundays, there is something different - a video, or an interview, for example. But every Sunday we share morning tea after the service. These are leisurely times where we can get to know people, and help build the type of community we know Jesus wants us to be.

On the fourth Sunday of every month we celebrate communion, where we share bread and wine as we remember Jesus' death for us on the cross.

For those who prefer a more traditional Anglican service, Bobbin Head Anglican Church now offers a choice of two services in the more formal setting of the Chapel at Lady Davidson Hospital (on Bobbin Head Road just before the entrance to Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park).

The services are:

8:00 a.m. Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

4:30 p.m. Evening Prayer (Book of Common Prayer)

These services are run by the Rev. Robert Jones, who is the Senior Assistant Minister at St James Anglican Church Turramurra, in conjunction with the Rev. Steve Calder, Minister of Bobbin Head Anglican Church, North Turramurra.
