Why are we here?

We're a loving community of ordinary people who have been saved by an extraordinarily gracious God.

From the very young through to the elderly, we are a family, whether we've known Jesus for a long time, a short time or we're investigating. So no matter where you're at, we'd love to get to know you and welcome you into our church community.

By God's grace, we exist to grow disciples of Jesus Christ, for God's glory.

The story of 'BHAC'

The story of Bobbin Head Anglican Church (BHAC) began in March 2005 when it was planted  as a congregation of St James Anglican Church,  Turramurra.

From 2005 to the end of 2007 it was also financially supported by St Swithun's Anglican Church, Pymble, and the Northern Regional Council of the Sydney Diocese.

Every step in our journey we've seen God's power and grace at work in leading people to Jesus, growing their faith in him, and serving our local community for Jesus' glory.

As a community of lifelong learners of the Lord Jesus Christ we look to continue sharing with everyone God's love in Christ, by his grace and for his glory.

For 20 years running now, BHAC continues to be a valued congregation of St James Anglican Church, Turramurra, as we partner together in reaching the suburbs of the Upper North Shore for Christ.

Dan joined the BHAC family as our new Pastor at the beginning of 2023.

He, along with wife Kathryn and their two little ones, love sharing their lives and the good news of Jesus with all whom they meet.

Sarah has been serving as our Children and Families Minister since March 2019.

She has been a member of Bobbin Head Anglican Church since 2007 along with her husband Andrew and their 4 kids.

She is excited to be partnering with parents, families and leaders to teach and share that living for Jesus really is the way we were made to live.

We are an Evangelical Anglican church.

Our historic and theological roots go back to the Protestant Reformation, most explicitly expressed in the Thirty-Nine Articles of the Church of England and the Book of Common Prayer.

You can learn more about our Christian doctrine and beliefs here.
